MAINTENANCE TIPS
All new saddles have already been treated with ox-foot oil to optimize their first use.
During the first week, daily use of CWD Conditioner is highly recommended to help waterproof the leather and enable the saddle to mould to the rider.
Every day and throughout the saddle's life, basic care is necessary. Daily care of your saddle is recommended to ensure that it lasts and remains in a good state. Firstly thoroughly clean it with CWD ...

For the horse :
The wide panels are concave to allow a better pressure distribution of the saddle along the horse's back. The saddle opening is increased around the shoulders to free up the horse's movements when in action.
For the rider :
The single flaps offer a refined close contact that enables the rider to have precise actions as he can feel the horse move under him. The semi-rigid blocks enable the rider's legs to stay well in position.
The close contact has been worked on with a lower cut of the saddle flap around the stirrup bars so that there is only one layer of leather under the skirt.
The pommel is widened with a thicker strip of foam that overlaps on both sides of the pommel to support the rider's abductors.
Every cut piece of leather of this high quality saddle has been sanded, dyed, and then varnished for a soft touch.
The central part of the saddle is mainly made of calfskin to feel closer to the horse and the edges are made of full grain to strengthen the frame.

In summer, your saddle will need more care to prevent the leather from drying out, because of high temperatures and exposure to sun.
In winter, your saddle should be kept in a heated place to avoid exposure to damp.
