Even with one rail down, William Fox-Pitt of Great Britain is officially on a roll, winning the 2012 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI****.

It was an incredibly difficult renewal of the event, only 27 of the 57 riders who started in the dressage phase made it to show jumping. Among the jumpers, five were able to make it through the challenging, technical course without rails down.

5 CWD riders were amongst the 27 who made it to the jumping phase: William Coleman riding Twizzel finished 5th, Erin Sylvester and No Boundaries got 13th place, Doug Payne and Running Order 18th, Kristi Nunnink and R-Star 23th and Michael Pollard riding Wonderful Will finished 25th.

Congratulations to Clark Montgomery, Becky Holder, Kadi Eykamp et Heather Morris who were also in this competition.

The twelfth week of the Winter Equestrian Festival ended in apotheosis last night with the Grand Prix 5*. Totally unexpected, Daniel Bluman from Colombia, jumped to an exciting victory on Saturday night

At only 22 years old, the Colombian has triumphed before some of the greatest riders of the world.

45 riders were on the start list. Best couples of the American continent were able to compete with some of the best European couples: Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, recent winner of the WEF Challenge Cup, Ben Maher, Nick Skelton, Cian O'Connor, Richard Spooner, Eric Lamaze or Rodrigo Pessoa.

At first, they were three to win the ticket for the jump-off. Lauren Hough, Ian Millar and Daniel Bluman found the keys to the course designed by Alan Wade. Katherine Dinnan and Lauren Tisbo realized clear rounds, but out of time. The Colombian, Daniel Bluman was the faster with Sancha LS and earned the top prize.
